Interview with model: Georgina May Jagger
At the tender age of 17, Georgia May Jagger is already being hailed as a style icon. Recently signed to London's TESS management which also represents her mother and older sister Elizabeth Jagger, Georgia starred in the latest Hudson Jeans' advertising campaign, and has also graced the front cover of the most recent issue of fashion bible Vogue UK magazine, shot by renowned photographer Mario Testino.
Blessed with the genetic dream team of Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger, she has cultivated her own unique style. Founded on her perfect pout and trademark gap-toothed smile her striking look has those in the know touting her as the one to watch, already gracing the pages of style bibles Vogue, Dazed and Confused, i-D and Love magazine.
Until now Georgia has mainly been focussing on studying for Sociology, Photography and Fine Arts A-Levels. School comes first and she only works at weekends and during the school holidays. Georgia is the style crowd’s go-to girl of the moment. She is widely quoted as having a unique and distinct personal style, alongside a warm and ‘dead normal’ personality.
With i-D declaring her ‘a young Bridget Bardot’, this is Georgia May Jaggers moment – watch this space!
INTERVIEW
Q: Why did you decide to work with Rimmel?
My agent asked me to go in when I was 15, I was way too young but I remember that I was asked to say ‘get the London look’ and I felt rather silly!! Then when I was 17 I signed with them because it’s the perfect fit between me and them being British and all.
Q: What’s your top beauty tip?
I usually like either just a lip, or just eyes. I tend to stick to that when I am doing my own make up.
Q: What make-up bag must haves are in your bag?
Liquid eyeliner for a cat flick, I also have a spf moisturiser ALWAYS, soft smudgy black pencil, 3 shades of red, and I tend to mix them. Oh yes, and I wouldn’t leave the house without my eyelash curlers.
Q: What do you think the coolest part of London is, and why?
Camden, love the flea market and there is always great music going on down there.
Q: What do you miss when you’re not in London?
Mainly my mum and dogs, cats and chickens. The culture, the galleries are so wicked there, and the English sense of humour.
Q: How do you stay looking fresh and healthy everyday?
Some days I look a mess, you should of seen me after my A-levels I felt 10 years older. I suppose that being happy helps and having good food, making sure I eat a balanced diet. I have great massage at least once a fortnight. Facials also are very important. Never ever go to bed without cleansing
Q: What do you do to stay healthy?
I walk everywhere, I don’t drive, not sure I want to either. I get a lot of sleep, without fail I get 8 hours. I drink a lot of water.
Q: What advice would you give a tourist in London?
Go to all the Galleries, take the boat down the river. Have fish and Chips!!!
Hope you enjoyed reading!
Love, Emi. xXx
