Santi White (born September 25, 1976), better known by her stage name Santigold
(formerly Santogold), is
an American singer-songwriter
and producer. Her debut album Santigold
was released to positive reviews in 2008.Her second album Master of My
Make-Believe was released in April 2012, also to critical acclaim. She is a mezzo-soprano.
Her music is described as "genreless".
“Genreless” is a term used by Santigold to describe her sounds. It's music that picks and mixes from a hodgepodge of disparate genres and periods in popular culture. Multi-rivulets of noise propelled by the technology boom of our times and the rapid service of any song, any time, at your disposal.
