Dreaming of summer 2016 with Emi Jewellery (Festival fashion & Ethiopian Culture)

So we've been hard at work developing here behind the scenes at Emi Jewellery, we've signed off a good few styles from our summer 2016 collection and we wanted to share our inspiration with you.

Inspiration has been taken from Ethiopia this season. Think hand made. Bright colours. Sunsets. Beading. Festivals....

We've had around 60 new styles for the new season confirmed this month with FGH Group.  (www.freemans.com) which will be launching online from January 8th with the first drop and then February 5th onwards....we will have over 40 new necklaces, 8 new bracelets and almost 20 new styles of earrings in our pre-summer collection alone this year, we're really growing our label.

Please welcome our newest team member! to the Emi Jewellery family.

Say hello to Michele Bryant! She's the newest memeber to join the Emi Jewellery team which brings us to a family of 5 with myself included. Michele will be taking care of the Social Media part of the brand from now on, so if youve noticed a recent influx in activity, thats why!

Michele grew up in New England then moved to Japan for 3 years, studying for her degree while at the University of Maryland, she’s now happily settled and lives in Southern California. She’s super active and loves to be outdoors, when she’s not doing sports such as high altitude hiking she can be found relaxing on the beach with a cold beer enjoying her time with her friends.

One of the most amazing things about Emi Jewellery is that I have built the label around the flexibility of others. We all work remotely, which is exactly what I wanted for the brand. We're not tied to an office (OK so the warehouse team is fixed, but they work flexible hours and we work around them).

It’s been a long journey to get to this far, but the future looks certainly bright!

Welcome to the team Michele, I predict big things for the future.

Sorry for not posting in what seems like for ever. Here at Emi HQ we have moved offices, moved personal homes and have changed a lot in the last few months. 

We've been working super hard on building an amazing collaboration with the FGH Group. If you are not aware of them, they own websites such as Freemans.com & Grattan.co.uk, two sites of which we have partnered up with.

This Pre-FW15 we have launched a capsule collection of 17pcs ideal for the gifting season...and dare I say it, Christmas!

Alongside this, Xander and the marketing team at FGH Group got together for a cup of tea and a cake  a few weeks ago while they picked his brains about the label.
