DJ Khaled proposes to Nicki Minaj

Hip-hop star DJ Khaled has declared his love for rapper Nicki Minaj and proposed to her in a heartfelt video message posted online.

he producer, 37, has filmed a short clip for MTV.com expressing his desire to make the Super Bass hitmaker his wife and at the end of the footage, he even pulls out a large diamond ring.

In the video, he says, “I want to be honest with you. I love you. I like you. I want you to be mine. The only reason I’m not telling you this face to face is because I know that you’re busy...

“You need a man like me in your life that’s gonna take care of you and respect you. You gotta take your time and think about it, I understand... but I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and about how serious this is to me. I want to let your fans know, my fans know, my family, your family, that I wanna marry you. I been working hard to get this ring... Nicki Minaj... will you marry me?”

Minaj has yet to respond to the proposal from her Cash Money Records labelmate.

Glee actor Cory Monteith found dead in Vancouver hotel

Authorities said Monteith, 31, was found dead in his room at noon local time at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel.

Hotel staff checked his room when he missed his checkout time, and discovered the body. He had been dead for several hours before he was found.

The cause of death was not immediately apparent but police said there were no indications of foul play. They would not comment on speculation that he had died of a drug overdose.

Monteith had been out earlier in the night but returned to the room alone, police said.

Acting Chief Doug LePard told a news conference: "There were others with Mr Monteith in his room earlier last night, but video and fob key entries show him returning to his room by himself in the early morning hours and we believe he was alone when he died." 

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tomorrow.
